Dave:
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid sees that Minnesota defensive tackle Ra’Shede Hageman is available and immediately bangs his fists on the table to get him in KC. The Chiefs lock up a stud group of interior defensive linemen, pairing the 6’6 Hageman with 2012 first round pick Dontari Poe. I see UCLA guard X’avier Su’a-Filo as an alternate here if starting offensive lineman Jon Asamoah isn’t retained.
Giorgos:
The Kansas City Chiefs get the most intriguing defensive tackle of the 2014 NFL Draft. Ra’Shede Hageman is a raw prospect, but could turn into one of the best players that will come out of this draft class. He measures at 6′ 6″ and over 310 pounds and is strong, fast and agile. When he gets into the backfield, it’s hard for the quarterback or the running back to avoid him, because Hageman moves fast in every direction. His biggest issue is getting off blocks, but once he figures out how to do that, Hageman will be hard to contain.
