9. Buffalo Bills
Taylor Lewan
Offensive Tackle, Michigan

Previously: Jake Matthews (Offensive Tackle, Texas A&M)

Giorgos:

Jake Matthews didn’t make it to Buffalo Bills’ pick this time. Next best offensive tackle is Taylor Lewan, who is also a very good prospect. Lewan is still a bit raw, but also extremely athletic and an experienced college player. Hecould be the Bills’ starting right tackle in 2014 and provide an instant upgrade over Erik Pears, who struggled a lot last year.

Dave:

Buffalo has had offensive line problems for as long as I can recall, and here they take the opportunity to solve those problems and protect 2013 first-round investment E.J. Manuel with the meanest tackle in the Draft, Taylor Lewan. Lewan is another day one starter, who has more value to the Bills at this point than tight end Eric Ebron, another possible selection.
