Defensive End, Auburn

Conventional wisdom or most current scouting reports has Auburn defensive end Dee Ford dropping into the second round. If he is still on the board for the Eagles in the second round he would be a perfect second rounder. But I don’t think he’ll make it to the Eagles’ second pick. He is too good to pass up and take a chance on him on the second round. He is a bit undersized as a defensive end but he makes up for it with speed. I have mentioned before he can add the muscle. He has the confidence to fail, learn from it and move on. Couple him with Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Bill Davis and I think he could be the answer the Eagles are looking for.

Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith could use an extra weapon on offense. Being in the same division as the Denver Broncos they could use a little help on offense to fight off quarterback Peyton Manning.
