This is a very important game for the Philadelphia Eagles. It isn’t critical that they win but it would go a long way to seal the NFC East Title for the Birds for the second consecutive year. In fact, if the Eagles lose this game they would most likely need to win the final three games of the season in case the Dallas Cowboys continue winning.

This game will test the Eagles’ defensive line and secondary more so than any other game this season. Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is a dual threat and has been lethal this season. Even with a slow start they have found their rhythm and seem to be ready to defend their Super Bowl title. They have a harder road to the preseason this year though.

The Seahawks are nearing desperation mode. Another loss will make their uphill climb even steeper. And that makes them dangerous. They have a stronger need to win this game. They face the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals in Weeks 15 and 16. Neither of those games are automatic wins.

I look for Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Mark Sanchez to continue his precision with his passes. He may give up an interception to Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman but it won’t be a game killer. He just won’t throw to his side anymore. Green Bay Packers quarterback admitted avoiding Sherman, why can’t Sanchez?

I think the Eagles defensive line will contain Wilson for the most part. He may sneak by once or twice but I don’t think that will cause any significant damage. The defensive line is resilient and can handle a couple of lumps.

Finally, the Eagles are perfect at home this season. Look for Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly and the Birds to continue that trend. Eagles win a big game.
