4. Oakland Raiders (3-12)
Amari Cooper
Wide Receiver, Alabama
The Raiders found their young quarterback in Derek Carr last year, now they need to work on surrounding him with talent. The Raiders have an abysmal receiving corps and Cooper is far and away the best receiver in this class. Cooper across from incumbent number one receiver James Jones, would give the Raiders a legitimate receiving corps.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars^ (From New York Jets) (3-12)
Leonard Williams
Defensive End/Defensive Tackle, USC
The Jaguars need a lot on defense. Their secondary is especially in shambles. However, getting Williams who is likely the top talent in this draft at the number five spot would be too good to pass up. Most teams would use Williams as a defensive end, but the Jaguars have decent defensive ends in Chris Clemons and Red Bryant. Head coach Gus Bradley would love to have a guy like Williams who he can move around along the D-line.
6. Washington Redskins (4-11)
Randy Gregory
Defensive End, Nebraska
The Redskins and their fans should be happy to be back in the first round of the draft. I have them taking Gregory here, but Missouri’s Shane Ray would be an excellent choice too. The Redskins had a lot of issues on defense this past year and getting another legitimate pass rusher will be a step in the right direction for them.
