Dave’s 2015 NFL Mock Draft 1.0: Philadelphia Eagles Go Defense Early

Welcome to the first edition of Dave’s 2015 NFL Mock Draft on Inside the Iggles. The most exciting three nights in football are just a few short months away! The internet is filling with countless tweets, blogs, YouTube videos, and Facebook posts about what position the Eagles need to address the most. Should the team take a quarterback early, or perhaps address secondary? How about a first round punter to groom for Donnie Jones‘ replacement?
There are many philosophies that mock drafts adopt, and this one falls more in line with “not every pick is perfect in real life, so don’t expect the mocks to be either”. There are quite a few picks that I’m not even sold on myself, but I could physically see them happening and that sort of realistic unpredictability is exactly what I wanted to accomplish. I still try to focus on the positives for each, but (spoiler alert) not every player selected will become a great player.
