Week 7: Philadelphia Eagles at Carolina Panthers (Sunday Night Football on NBC)

Just as they did in 2014, the Eagles will play the Carolina Panthers in a prime-time game in 2015. Hopefully, the end result will repeat itself as well. Philadelphia dominated the Panthers last season in a match-up that saw cornerback Bradley Fletcher get an interception and return it for a touchdown…yes, that Bradley Fletcher. If the Panthers don’t address their needs up front on the offensive line in the draft, the Eagles’ pass rush should have a field day with quarterback Cam Newton like they did in 2014.

The Panthers do present a tough match-up for the Eagles’ offense though, as they had one of the best defenses in the league in 2014. But this offseason, they haven’t made any major additions to their roster to make me think they’ll be a drastically better team this upcoming season. It should be a tough, rugged game but nothing that the Philadelphia Eagles should be too scared of.
