Philadelphia Eagles: Which veterans might be cut?

Earl Wolff, Safety
If there’s anyone that needs to really show something and fast during training camp, it’s Earl Wolff hands down. Wolff has had a bumpy start to his 3 year NFL career. In Wolff’s rookie season he showed promise playing spot duty when then starter Patrick Chung got injured, but as the season went on Wolff injured his knee and wasn’t the same. In 2014, many had high expectations for Wolff.
Wolff was expected to take the starting sport from Nate Allen who struggled all of 2013, but Wolff never managed to stand out and was relegated to special teams duty. After the first part of the season came and went, Wolff decided to get knee surgery and miss the rest of the season. Once again the same knee gave Wolff problems.
Now it’s 2015 and Wolff is still missing practice due to the knee surgery. This has irked Chip Kelly and it seems like Wolff is the one keeping himself out of practice. People are even speculating if Wolff is in Kelly’s “doghouse”. Wolff needs to get healthy and start proving people wrong because his time is running short.
