Philadelphia Eagles: Who impressed on Sunday?

2. Secondary Looks Improved
It was no secret that the Philadelphia Eagles biggest weakness was the secondary. The team made a huge effort in blowing up the secondary and rebuilding it from scratch essentially. There was plenty of intrigue to see how the new look secondary would preform. They impressed me.
Coming off a big contract, corner Byron Maxwell made his first appearance in an Eagles uniform and looked the part of a number 1 corner. The starter opposite Maxwell is Nolan Carroll and also had a good game playing limited snaps. The real impressive play came with the backups, which is very relieving considering the horrid play in recent years.
Corner E.J. Biggers had a great game, safety Ed Reynolds had 2 impressive interceptions, and corner Eric Rowe flashed some ability. The team consistently made the Colts quarterbacks go through all their progressions. It was rare if the first read was open. And most importantly, the secondary never gave up big plays.
The Colts have no pass plays longer than 20 yards. 5 Eagles have at least one 20-yard catch - Agholor, Matthews, Austin, Burton and Mostert.
