Eagles running backs vs. Falcons linebackers

Another matchup that is strongly in the Eagles favor. Between DeMarco Murray, Ryan Mathews, and Darren Sproles the birds feature one of the best running back trios in the league. The Falcons on the other hand are missing one of their starting linebackers in Brooks Reed and have a pretty average linebacker core overall.

With the advantage the Eagles have with their offensive line, the running backs should have gaping holes all day. Easily getting to the second level against the Falcons linebackers forcing them to make plays in space. That’s scary when you have a shifty back like Sproles. The Eagles backs also have a major advantage running routes out the backfield or in Sproles case occasionally out of the slot. All 3 of the birds running backs should have a big game come Monday night.
