Offensively, the Philadelphia Eagles are in for a huge game.  Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford will have a field day throwing the ball against one of the weakest defenses in the NFL. Falcons cornerback Desmond Trufant will shut down 1 WR all day (likely Riley Cooper) but expect Eagles wide receiver Jordan Matthews to turn in a huge game. The running game will impress in the debut of running backs Demarco Murray and Ryan Mathews. We’re in for a high scoring game.

Defensively, the Eagles will struggle to match up against Julio Jones–arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL–and the aging Roddy White. The front seven will hold the running back duo of Devonta Freeman and rookie Tevin Coleman in check throughout the game, so quarterback Matt Ryan will be passing. The Eagles don’t have a cornerback who can consistently keep Julio Jones in check (to be fair, no team does).

Final Score Prediction: Eagles 48, Falcons 34

Game MVP: Jordan Matthews: 8 catches, 135 yards, 1 receiving touchdown
