2. Cleveland Browns: Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State

Could this be the year the Browns finally get their franchise quarterback?

The Johnny Manziel project is over in Cleveland and Carson Wentz could very well be next up in the Browns’ revolving quarterback carousel.

Wentz has the prototypical size of a starting quarterback (6’5″, 237) and brings solid athleticism to the table as well. He stands tall in the pocket, has a solid arm and has the ability to a make any throw necessary in the NFL, thanks to his experience at North Dakota State’s pro-style system.

This year’s quarterback class isn’t phenomenal by any means, but the Browns are desperate for a decent signal caller and Wentz has the potential to be an efficient starter in the NFL.
