8. Miami Dolphins: Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State

The Dolphins don’t seem close to an agreement with running back Lamar Miller, who they could lose in free agency. If Miller is not on Miami’s roster by the time the draft arrives, it’s hard to imagine them not taking Ezekiel Elliott at 8.

Elliott is a stud. In three years at Ohio State, he ran for 3,961 yards and 43 touchdowns while recording 449 more yards receiving. He can beat you with his legs, his hands and he can block like it’s his day job (which, technically, it is, I guess).

Elliott is going to be the next great young running back in the NFL and the Dolphins would be crazy not to take him, especially if they end up losing Miller.
