Cornerback, on the other hand, became a need when Roseman shipped Byron Maxwell off to Miami, and was arguably a need even before then. I’m sure that taking Vernon Hargreaves, or perhaps even making a play for an elite prospect like Jalen Ramsey could be in the cards. Although it appears likely that Ramsey is out of reach, Hargreaves matches the Schwartz cornerback archetype; a smaller, agile and athletic player with ball skills.

Offensive line and EDGE are worth addressing, but do not feel as though they favorably align with the Eagles needs and draft value at #8 overall. That is to say, the best edge rusher likely to be available is Shaq Lawson, a very good prospect in his own right, but not an elite prospect worth aggressively pursuing over others at more pressing areas of need.
