Tackle Ronnie Stanley falls into a similar category in that, while I’m of the opinion that revamping the tackle position is paramount with Jason Peters‘ departure imminent, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Eagles passed. Stanley isn’t suited to play inside in the interim, and according to the whispers of dissension floating throughout the Twittersphere, he may not be as highly thought of in NFL circles as the fan and media appraisal might indicate.

It remains to be seen what direction the Eagles go in, but the speculation is sure to provide an interesting debate in the mean time.
