1. Rodney McLeod

Say hi to Walter Thurmond‘s replacement at safety.

Rodney McLeod is undoubtedly the best player the Eagles signed in free agency. McLeod is a high-energy, hard-hitting safety with phenomenal instincts and a nose for the football. He has never missed a game in his four-year career and has caused seven forced fumbles in the last three seasons.

At only 25 years old, McLeod still has his best years ahead of him. He and Malcolm Jenkins will be two peas in a pod and it will be fun to watch them play alongside one another in Jim Schwartz’s aggressive defense. Don’t be surprised if the Eagles have one of the NFL’s best safety tandems for the second year in a row.
