Philadelphia Eagles’ Top 8 First Overall Draft Picks In Jeffrey Lurie Era
By Jeff Glauser
3) Fletcher Cox, DT Mississippi (12th overall in ’12)
The best defensive tackle in to play in Philadelphia since Jerome Brown, Cox has now established himself as one of the elite interior linemen in the game today. He earned his first Pro Bowl appearance and second All Pro selection last season.
Like Johnson, Cox’s best years are likely ahead of him. And like Maclin, the Eagles are in danger of losing them to another team if they are unable to re-sign him.
