Running Back, Kenneth Dixon

I will try to keep this section as brief and to-the-point as possible. For two reasons: One, I am completely bias towards running backs as it is. And two, because my love for Kenneth Dixon is that deep. I could write long flowing articles about this running back, and by the end of this little piece, I may just have to.

Dixon is a focused runner that fights for every inch. Excellent footwork and exciting change-of-direction movement makes him a dangerous threat anywhere on the field. His big-play ability usually ends with him finding his way into the end zone. Even when defenses are honed in on Dixon, he still finds ways to make plays. He’s elusive, smart, makes quick adjustments and finishes his runs with power.

I have debated this prospect with some of the other ITI guys, and although we agree Ezekiel Elliot is an instant workhorse and a solid pick at number 8, I still standby that Dixon is a more dynamic back. He may not be a full-load workhorse back, but he is a complete all-purpose running back that will give you a bit of everything. The Eagles have pretty much defined the NFL market by showcasing guys like Brian Westbrook, and LeSean McCoy. Players that found ways to create plays. Whether it was through the tackles, or through the air. This is what Dixon would give the Eagles again. And much to the chagrin of those same ITI writers I have debated with, I will openly admit that I missed watching McCoy last season. So many “smh” texts to come now.

Bottom line: Dixon is, without a doubt, going to be a three down running back in the league. He is not someone Philadelphia can afford to overlook. And if that happens, they are going to receive one angry letter stained with tears and Dorrito fingerprints.
