1) Jalen Ramsey, DB, FSU

I’ll be brief in discussing Ramsey because I don’t find him to be a realistic option for the Eagles. Although I consider Ole Miss tackle Laremy Tunsil the favorite to be selected first overall, Jalen Ramsey is arguably the best player in this class, and I wouldn’t at all be surprised to see him come off the board first.

Defensive Backs with Ramsey’s athleticism, physicality, size, length, speed and ball skills don’t come along often, and he’ll come off the board fast. So fast that I doubt the Eagles ever have a realistic shot at him. Teams in the 3-5 range will surely be jockeying for his services, and although he’s obviously an incredibly talented player, I doubt the Eagles are willing to invest what they’d have to in a move up. Howie Roseman and Jim Schwartz would love to add a player of Ramsey’s caliber, but it just won’t happen.
