Left Defensive End

  1. Vinny Curry
  2. Connor Barwin

Vinny Curry is finally getting the opportunity to show what he can do as a full-time starter. Curry has the potential to be a menace off the edge and could be a staple to the Eagles’ defense for years to come. Barwin, on the other hand, has a bit of a different situation. While the switch to a 4-3 defense greatly benefits Curry, it hurts Barwin, who will see a smaller amount of reps thanks to the new scheme. When the Eagles ran a 3-4 defense, Barwin was irreplaceable, but he will have to take the back seat to Curry as he transitions to defensive end.
