Fletcher Cox

This is not even arguable.

Fletcher Cox is the best defensive player the Eagles have had since Brian Dawkins and it’s not even all that close.

At only 25 years old, Cox has already become one of the NFL’s top defensive linemen while mostly playing in a scheme that wasn’t even a natural fit for him. Now that the Eagles are going back to a 4-3 scheme, Cox will return to his natural position at defensive tackle and toss interior linemen around like crash test dummies.

Cox wants to be in Philadelphia for the long haul and he will likely receive a well-deserved monster of a contract keeping him in the City of Brotherly love for a very long time.
