Jon Dorenbos

One of the longest-tenured players on the Eagles’ roster may be at the end of the road.

Dorenbos recently performed an amazing magic trick on America’s Got Talent and totally stole the show. However, something he said on the show may be a sign that his 10-year tenure with the Eagles could be coming to an end.

When Simon Cowell asked Dorenbos what he would do if he won, Dorenbos replied with:

"Well, let’s be honest, the NFL stands for Not For Long, so I’ve been lucky here, so you always gotta have a backup plan and this is a pretty good one."

Of course, this is just speculation, but the Eagles brought in another long snapper this offseason in John DePalma. Dorenbos is 35 years old and it’s fair to wonder how much longer he’ll be able to perform at a high level for the Eagles. If his age looks to have caught up with him this offseason, DePalma could be the Eagles’ new long snapper in 2016.
