DEFENSE

Tackles

Jordan Hicks

2015-16 Stats: 50 tackles/1.0 sack/1 forced fumble/2 Interceptions

Projected 2016-17 Stats: 105 tackles/2.5 sacks/2 forced fumbles/2 Interceptions

No pressure Jordan!

Malcolm Jenkins led the Eagles in tackles last season but I see a change in the guard if Hicks can stay on the field for at least 90 percent of the season. Through 8 games and only 5 starts, Hicks was well on his way to a 100 tackle season before being struck down with a pectoral injury.

Hicks is also among the three most important defensive players the Eagles have, Nigel Bradham has reached 100 tackles in this scheme under Jim Schwartz but he didn’t have the caliber of player alongside him as he does now.
