4. Vinny Curry Will Have 14+ Sacks

Used as merely a 3rd down pass rusher since arriving with the Eagles 4 years ago, Curry has done it the hard way when it comes to earning a starting spot. The move to 4-3 over the off-season was the opportunity Curry had been waiting for, having had a 9 sack season with limited snaps two years ago, there is no doubting Curry boasts elite pass rushing ability.

Jim Schwartz is on record saying he is going to let Curry off of the leash, and to be honest, that is going to be dangerous for the opposition. Cox being as good as he is will demand a lot more attention from opposing coaches this season, and that opens the door perfectly for Curry to breakout.

Blocking Curry one on one isn’t going to workout well for anyone. The likely result will be that he drives your team’s quarterback into the dirt, get’s up and repeats the process. Achieving 14 sacks is a massive season for anybody, but with the talent on the Eagles defensive line and Curry’s pass rushing prowess it’s not a ridiculous goal either.
