Lane Johnson – Right Tackle

Toughness, Grit, Speed and Strength are all words that come to mind when you think of Lane Johnson. He epitomizes Philadelphia football and the heart and passion it takes to be an Eagle. Johnson’s 2015/16 season was injury riddled, and he played countless games with more than one injury. Offensive tackles are hard to find, and having one that can play both on both the left and right sides of the line is irreplaceable.

The 4th overall pick in 2013 has surpassed the two tackles taken before him in that draft, rating 22nd overall among tackles on Pro Football Focus compared to Eric Fisher (36th) and Luke Joeckel (50th).

Like Cox, Johnson is a piece you can build around, and he’s the future and an anchor on the offensive line. There aren’t many better young tackles in the league right now.
