Jordan Matthews – Wide Receiver

There isn’t much that you can say negatively about Jordan Matthews. In terms of importance to the Eagles offense and roster, you could make the argument that he is the one player the Eagles can ill afford to lose.

152 receptions, 1,869 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns in his first two seasons is an impressive effort for the young wideout. Considering how sparse the Eagles look at wide receiver, Matthews may need to shoulder the load. There’s no reason to think he can’t

Despite some issues with drops last season, which may have cost him a 1,000+ yard season, he’s been a leader, a relentlessly hard worker and has shown he has the talent to be a potential star for the Eagles.

If the Eagles players could clone one guy, Matthews might want to be the guy they clone. Potentially, his best trait is the fact he’s a great teammate, and that’s definitely a player the Eagles are much better with than without.
