Ball or Fall: Eagles vs Steelers Preseason Edition
Bradford wasn’t flashy at all. As a matter of fact, the first team offense only scored three points, but Sam displayed multiple intangibles and put his skill set on display. He took command of the offense, called out blitzes and made adjustments. He showed no signs of being timid in the pocket, and his pocket presence seemed much better than it had been last year.
Sam stood tall and delivered strikes right before being hit. He made plays by escaping the pocket and eluding sacks. He finished the night with 14 completions on 19 attempts for 115 yards (some of his incompletions were due to drops). Unfortunately for the offense, some of their drives and momentum were killed by penalties, but it wasn’t a bad first half by Bradford at all.
