Receiving yards: Zach Ertz

It may be a little bold to predict a tight end to lead the team in receiving yards, but I’m expecting a big year from Ertz.

Ertz has improved in every year of his three-year NFL career and I do not believe that will change in Doug Pederson‘s tight end-friendly offense. Ertz didn’t earn himself that shiny five-year, $42 million contract extension for nothing. The Eagles clearly believe Ertz will be a big part of this team moving forward and it’s hard for me to disagree.

With a rookie quarterback taking over, I expect Ertz and his young signal-caller to form instant chemistry this season. It’ll be a fun year to watch Ertz play.

Prediction: 84 receptions, 1,024 yards, 6 TDs
