Dare I say it? Hit free agency like you’re building a “Dream Team!”

Be aggressive! B! E! Aggressive! Get what you need and be wise about it!

The best free agent wide receiver this year is Alshon Jeffery and the Eagles need to land him at the right price. The current receiving core is failing. Adding Jeffery instantly raises their overall value. One of the obstacles in landing Jeffery could be the fact he wants Dez Bryant money (Bryant signed a 5 year, $70,000,000 contract, including a $20,000,000 signing bonus, $45,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $14,000,000). Dang, that’s a lot of money! Knowing what he brings to the table, it may be worth giving into Jeffery’s demands.

Other available receivers include Terrelle Pryor, Josh Gordon (RFA), DeSean Jackson, Kenny Britt, Michael Floyd, Kenny Stills, and Robert Woods.

The Eagles also need to get at least one cornerback. Currently, the best available consist of A.J. Bouye, Trumaine Johnson and Stephon Gilmore. There are a few other good young corners, but these three should be the focus.

Last offseason the Eagles made a wise decision and signed Brandon Brooks, this offseason should be no different.

Available guards: Kevin Zeitler, T.J. Lang, Larry Warford, J.C. Tretter and Ronald Leary.

Any of these options would be suitable to give Carson Went better protection.
