1. Alvin Kamara, Tennessee Volunteers

Alvin Kamara has an impressive highlight tape from his days with the Tennessee Volunteers. He has really good vision, maintains decent speed and reads blocks perfectly. The offensive lines he ran behind had a tendency to be weak, but he typically made the best of it and found a way to avoid tacklers.

Unfortunately, he just doesn’t seem to fit the profile of a workhorse back. In both of his seasons in college he failed to rush for over 700 yards in a season. He didn’t have many rushing attempts either. During the 2016 season, he never carried the ball more than 18 times. The Eagles need to find a back who can handle a heavy workload to take pressure off of quarterback Carson Wentz in the passing game. Kamara’s history raises a red flag.
