Week 3: New York Giants, Sunday 1:00 PM ET

Last time they met: 2016 Week 16, Eagles 24, Giants 19

Two division opponents in the first three weeks of the season is a questionable move by the NFL schedule masterminds. These important NFC East battles should be addressed in the middle and end of the season.

The home opener should be electric with high expectations for the second year of the Pederson-Wentz era.

The defense comes out swinging against Eli Manning and Alshon Jeffery shows why Howie Roseman gave him $14 million this season in a tough matchup with Janoris Jenkins.

The Eagles get two big wins in the NFC East early in the year.

Result: Eagles Win (2-1)
