Gareon Conley, CB, Ohio State

Gareon Conley is one of the two cornerbacks that have declared out of Ohio State. Talent-wise, Conley’s name may have been overshadowed by former teammate and first round prospect Marshon Lattimore. That was no longer the case on April 25. Reports came out that Conley was accused of rape in Cleveland earlier this month. Since the reports made plenty of rounds throughout the sports world yesterday, Conley and his representatives have denied the allegations.

Before the reports, the Eagles were showing some interest in the former Buckeye. The interest could have been inspired by the Eagles’ current safety and former Buckeye, Malcom Jenkins. He stated that he would like another Ohio State player with him on the defense and this year’s draft has a heavy set of cornerback selections. With Lattimore likely to go in the top 10, Conley stood out for the Eagles at 14. The allegations against him will most likely drop his draft stock no matter what. The Eagles have a tough choice to make if they are still interested in Conley.
