Calvin Ridley, WR, Alabama

Wideouts Alshon Jeffery and Jordan Matthews are scheduled to become free agents at the end of the year. Torrey Smith could also be out the door if the Eagles choose not to pick up his $5 million option. If things don’t go the Eagles’ way, they could be back in the market for a receiver in next year’s draft.

Ridley is coming off a disappointing sophomore campaign after recording 1,045 yards and seven touchdowns as a true freshman in 2015. But this is a player who has been compared to Oakland Raiders wideout and former Alabama star Amari Cooper. NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein even called him a faster version of Cooper.

You can never be too deep at receiver in the NFL and Ridley would a solid addition if chosen by the Eagles in next year’s draft.
