The 2014 Season:

In 2014, a new name was added to the depth chart at tight end in Philly. The Eagles marched into another season with Brent Celek, Zach Ertz, and newly added Trey Burton. With the release of James Casey, Ertz was called upon to be more of a contributor. That season, Ertz played in all 16 games. He was targeted 89 times. He had 58 receptions, 702 yards and three touchdowns. That averages out to about 5.6 targets, 3.6 receptions, 43.9 yards, and, again, less than one touchdown per game. His best game came in December versus the Washington Redskins. In that one, he was targeted 18 times. He hauled in 15 receptions, good for 115 yards.

In 2014 the Eagles went to the Playoff versus the New Orleans Saints, and Ertz had three receptions on four targets, good for 22 yards and one touchdown.
