Carson Wentz will be the first Eagles QB to throw for 4,000 yards

With a new pair of proven wide receivers in Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith, it would be a bit of a letdown if Wentz didn’t break the Eagles’ single-season record for passing yards. Donovan McNabb currently holds the record with 3,916 yards, which he set in the 2009 season.

If last season was any indication, the Eagles will probably be throwing the ball a lot in 2017. Despite the lack of weapons, Wentz set a franchise record with 607 passing attempts as a rookie. Now that Wentz has an improved receiving core, 4,000 yards seems pretty manageable.
