2. The home opener…

Playing in an NFL game is motivation enough for these guys. Playing in front of the hometown fans definitely gets the guys charged up, but having the hated New York Giants come to town could, no doubt, send this team into a fever pitch.

There’s an interesting dynamic in the current NFC East division. The Eagles can’t beat the Washington Redskins, but then again, the Redskins can’t beat the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys, on the other hand, seem to be incapable of beating the New York Giants, but those same Giants always seem to struggle with the Eagles. What’s even more strange is neither team has done enough to make anyone feel as though that trend won’t carry over into the 2017 season.

Expect Philly to make the fans very happy in the home opener.
