ITI: I like the fact that this team hired Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch. How far away are we from seeing good football from the 49ers?

Niner Noise: I’d give it three years. That’s usually the amount of time it takes for a new front office to put its stamp on an organization, especially one like the Niners, who basically have to be considered an expansion team.

Lynch never could have turned around this team in one offseason. The 49ers were that devoid of talent. But what I’ve liked is the Niners don’t seem so concerned about a short-term fix, rather they’re gearing up for continued success after finding the cornerstone pieces they can build around.
