Zach Ertz, TE

You would think that with Alshon Jeffery, Nelson Agholor and Torrey Smith that Zach Ertz’s production would not be as large as it was in previous seasons. Surprisingly, That is not the case here. Ertz has been phenomenal this season. He is clearly Wentz’ favorite and most reliable target on the offense.

As the Eagles face a defense that is pretty giving to tight ends, Ertz could have another one of his big games. Now we all know by now that Ertz tweaked his hamstring in practice, which left him questionable for Sunday. At this point, Eagles coach Doug Pederson has written it off as a safety precaution. Ertz will play against the Broncos this week.

Next: Which Brock Osweiler will the Eagles see on Sunday?

As long as the Eagles can move the ball down the field, it is almost a guarantee that they can score in the red zone with Ertz. It wouldn’t be surprising to see a multiple touchdown game by the tight end. Ertz is definitely the key weapon for Wentz. As long as there is no pressure on the quarterback, Ertz will find a way to get the ball.
