Comeback Player of The Year – Wide Receiver Nelson Agholor

There aren’t many that saw this one coming. Most Eagles fans have always been supporters of Agholor, even in his darkest times. The belief was that he had too much talent to let it go to waste. Agholor put on full display of what he is capable of in his college days with the USC Trojans. When the Eagles drafted him with the 20th-overall pick back in the 2015 draft, some thought he would be a star right from the jump. Unfortunately, he had a rough first couple of years in the league.

Fast forward to 2017, and Agholor is now thriving in the slot, and he’s looking like the most explosive weapon on the entire offense. Agholor has tremendous “run-after-catch” ability. This was evident in the game against the Arizona Cardinals. Many people questioned how Agholor would fill in for former Eagles receiver Jordan Matthews. The latter was unexpectedly traded to the Buffalo Bills.

Now, Agholor is making us all forget about Matthews. He’s currently tied for 6th in the league in receiving touchdowns with five. Snagholor…..sorry.. we meant Agholor already has more receiving yards than he had at the end of last season with 392.
