Zach Ertz, TE

Finally! Veteran tight end Zach Ertz is having that season that every has been waiting for since his sophomore effort. When Ertz was drafted to the Eagles back in 2013, the team and fan base had very high expectations from him. He would serve as Brent Celek’s backup in year one, but year two was Ertz’ time to shine.

Although he had flashes of greatness over the years, he never displayed enough consistency to be able to be mentioned as one of the NFL’s best tight ends. Even after leading the Eagles in receiving in 2016 with 816 yards, Ertz still wasn’t really considered a major threat to defenses.

Season after season we would anticipate a major year from Ertz and we are finally witnessing it. Ertz sits as the second-most productive receiver on the Eagles despite being a tight end. He has 663 yards and seven touchdowns off of 57 receptions. It is pretty much a guarantee that we will see Ertz grab his first Pro Bowl nod at the end of the 2017 season.
