Zach Ertz was a huge contributor to the Eagles victory on Sunday. He caught all eight of his targets for 93 yards. Ertz has been having an amazing season loaded up with Pro Bowl honors and plenty of deserved recognition from around the league. For those who didn’t know though, Ertz is not the only athlete in his household.

Ertz’s wife, Julie is a soccer star for the Chicago Red Stars. Normally she is in attendance at her husband’s games. But unfortunately, she couldn’t make it to the NFC Championship in Philadelphia as she was playing a game of her own out on the West Coast. Her coaches decided to take tabs on the Eagles progress, though.

She found out immediately after her game that Ertz and the Eagles are on their way to Zach’s first ever Super Bowl. Overcome with emotion, Julie couldn’t help but cry tears of joy when she found out the news. But an even better moment happened back in the Eagles locker room when cameras caught Zach Ertz watching his wife’s reaction.
