Nick Foles is playing at an extremely high level.

Nick Foles was simply incredible on Sunday night. His throws, especially his deep shots, were pinpoint accurate and pure strikes. His last touchdown throw to Torrey Smith from 41 yards out on a flea-flicker was dropped on a dime. Oh, and who can forget that crazy Carson Wentz-esque escape from Everson Griffen when he hit Alshon Jeffrey from 53 yards out? Foles looked better than he has been since his seven-touchdown performance in 2013 against the Oakland Raiders.

Foles made playoff history last night. He is the first quarterback in NFL history to finish his first three playoff starts with a quarterback rating of over 100 in each performance. Last week, he tied Joe Montana for that honor with his first two.

Not only was Foles in high form, so was his receivers. Jeffrey made a swift double move on that 53-yard strike that almost broke Viking defensive back Terence Newman’s ankles. Torrey Smith was playing with an injury that he sustained at some point in the second quarter and still made a great over the shoulder grab. Zach Ertz had a monster game and caught 8 passes for 93 yards. Foles isn’t just throwing to one guy. He’s distributing the ball better than most point guards would.
