Ronald Darby, CB

Ronald Darby has been very hot and cold as the season went on. We gave him the benefit of the doubt when he returned halfway through the season since he suffered a bad injury. But as time went on, his performances were a little shaky.

One play, Darby looks like a true shutdown corner. Other plays, he give’s the Buffalo Bills some clarity on why exactly they traded him. You can tell by the way opposing teams quarterbacks target Darby that they don’t respect his play enough on the left side. We’ve seen quarterbacks pick on Jalen Mills earlier this season too and he made them pay for it. Now it’s  Darby’s turn to do the same.

That’s not to say that Darby had a rough showing against the Vikings in the championship game. But there were times where he gave the receivers way too much separation to give them the opportunity to make an easy catch. Something tells me that Darby will have an interception in this game. He has been targeted no problem during the postseason and for that, he has to make quarterbacks pay. Expect number 41 to shift the momentum with a turnover on Sunday.
