Jalen Mills, CB

This could be an unpopular opinion, but make no mistake about it. Jalen Mills has had a phenomenal postseason. He capped it all off with a solid Super Bowl performance. According to Pro Football Focus, Mills was targeted 10 times throughout the game. Only four of those 10 targets were completed passes.

We would also have to highlight the key play that he made early on to prevent a Rob Gronkowski touchdown on third down. Without his big pass deflection, there’s no telling how the game would’ve gone.

The Eagles defense didn’t exactly put on their best performance on Sunday. But the ‘bend but don’t break’ mentality was really in effect. Sure, Mills had some struggles at times biting on double moves, but he made big plays in big moments for the most part. After his big game in Super Bowl LII, he really made a case to start off 2018 training camp as the number one corner on the defense.
