Lorenzo Carter, Georgia

Lorenzo Carter is a quick, 6’6″, 242-pound outside linebacker out of Georgia. He has plenty of experience at the college level as he stayed in Georgia for all four of his seasons. He racked up 166 tackles and 14 sacks throughout his college career as a Bulldog. Although he had some up-and-down moments early on, he finished out his senior season with some pretty impressive numbers.

Carter was able to grab 62 total tackles in his final season along with 4.5 sacks. He also forced three fumbles to add to his total of six over the duration of his four-year career with the Bulldogs. Now Carter isn’t the most intriguing prospect to come out of Georgia this season, but he is definitely opening some eyes with his impressive abilities to rush the backfield.

If the Eagles are searching for a linebacker who could blitz well and get to the quarterback, Carter could be that guy. He is also the type of player who could turn into a turnover machine by forcing the ball carriers to fumble. In the right system with some development, Carter could become a fine player at the next level. He may not be the flashiest of the bunch, but he could surprise you.
