Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce has been a king on and off the field in Philly this year.

It’s now been a few weeks since the Philadelphia Eagles held their Super Bowl festivities. The city of Philadelphia is currently still living on cloud nine from the entire experience. While most of the players headed back home after a long season, one guy, in particular, remained in the city even though the season has concluded.

Eagles center Jason Kelce isn’t going anywhere. Since 2011, he has been a resident of Philadelphia as the Eagles drafted him. Since then, Kelce has started creating a legacy that not many players have in their respective cities.

Unless you live under a rock, you’ve probably heard his legendary speech at the world-famous art museum steps. Kelce stood up in front of millions of fans in a Mummers outfit to call out every single media critic that had something negative to say about the 2017 Eagles. But his offseason greatness did not end on the day of the parade. In fact, it looks like Jason Kelce is just getting started.

Jason Kelce, the Mummer.

Hold up wait a minute, ya’ll thought he was finished? Spotted in the Mardi Gras parade in Philadelphia, Kelce pulled out his now famous Mummers outfit and showed off his hidden talent as he played the saxophone!

Kelce may not be from the city of Philadelphia, but he might as well be at this point. He has taken a liking to the Philly culture off the field and has pretty much sealed the deal in becoming a legend in the city. All of those future Philadelphia Mayor talks going around could actually come true in the near future.

It’s crazy to think that there was a significant amount of Eagles fans who wanted Kelce out after his 2016 season. Thankfully, Howie Roseman and the Eagles front office didn’t listen to the public opinion. Kelce ended up having an All-Pro year and is now having an All-Pro offseason. Someone get this guy a statue ASAP.
