Carson Wentz, QB

You can’t possibly list a group of players that are primed for a comeback without the face of the franchise. Carson Wentz was borderline unstoppable last season. Before going down with a season-ending knee injury, Wentz was the favorite to win MVP. Obviously, things didn’t go as planned on a personal level, but Wentz and the fan base are far from concerned.

The jump from his rookie season to his sophomore effort was nothing short of remarkable. All of the right personnel moves by the Eagles front office surely made Wentz genuinely perform like the second-overall pick of his draft class. Unfortunately, a knee injury derailed his fantastic season-long performance in 2017.

Nobody should be worried about Wentz losing his juice, though. If anything, the young quarterback is more motivated than ever. With a goal to get back on the field during week one, Wentz is determined to come back better than he was last year. We’ve seen short previews of his limited playing recently. And the guy looks like he can go out there and still perform like a top-ten quarterback.
