Terrell Owens seems to want to remembered as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles when he’s enshrined in Canton’s Pro Football Hall of Fame.

How do you remember Terrell Owens? Is it as a member of the Dallas Cowboys, the San Francisco 49ers or the Philadelphia Eagles? Do you even think of him as a member of the Buffalo Bills or the Cincinnati Bengals? Who are the Allen Wranglers anyway? When we learned that Terrell Owens was entering the Pro Football Hall of Fame, most of us asked the same question.

Who is he going to be representing when he goes in? Well, it appears we may have an answer (maybe).

Well, we had to expect some surprises from T.O., didn’t we?

Terrell Owens stated that he wouldn’t be attending August 4th’s induction ceremony, but as only he can, he still managed to steal some headlines. Thank Philadelphia sports anchor John Clark for this one, but check out the official program for the night’s proceedings. Then check out ‘Number 81’ and what he’s wearing.

You didn’t see that coming, did you? Then again, why haven’t we learned to expect the unexpected with T.O.? For two seasons (2004 and 2005), Eagles fans were teased with what could have been. Donovan McNabb finally had an elite receiver at his disposal. The two rewrote Eagles record books for a season. They could have been dangerous had they had spent more time together.

Unfortunately, as you know, egos would, ultimately, doom what could have been, Eagles fans will have to settle for the memories of seeing T.O. blaze a trail through Philly and have it end all too suddenly, but how can you not think of Owens catching nine receptions and gaining 122 yards in that Super Bowl?

Now, Philly will see two of their Eagles enter the Hall on August 4th. For two seasons, Brian Dawkins and T.O. were members of the same team. Now, they’re two representatives of the same team and belong to the same fraternity.

We apologize. We’ve still been unable to find Terrell Owens for comment. Oh well, maybe we’ll see him at some other time.
