4. Wide Receiver

This past weekend, the Oakland Raiders threw out the idea of potentially trading Amari Cooper. Per usual, Eagles fans went crazy and wanted the Eagles to make a deal. Basically, Cooper is a guy who has shown a ton of potential early on in his career with the Raiders but has fallen off for the past two seasons.

It’s not all Cooper’s fault. The Raiders offense has been absolutely underwhelming, and their quarterback, Derek Carr has struggled a ton over the years. The Raiders are a mess right now, and they are quickly approaching a re-build. They would sell Cooper for some picks, and the Eagles could definitely make it happen.

The Eagles don’t need Cooper as much as some would think though. While Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor are getting back into their 2017 groove, Jordan Matthews has shown some upside on the offense over the past two weeks. Not to mention, there’s a possibility of getting Mack Hollins back soon.

And don’t forget, Carson Wentz loves dealing to his tight end, Zach Ertz the most. Sure, this offense hasn’t been as exciting as last season, but I genuinely believe that the Eagles are finally finding their rhythm again as everybody gets back to their 2017 grind. Some extra help at the position would be helpful, but it’s definitely not a massive need at the moment.
