Fletcher Cox, DT

Whenever the Eagles are down, you can always count on Fletcher Cox to be a bright spot on the defense no matter what. We all know that Cox isn’t exactly a sack master, but his ability to finish the play with a sack this season has been a lot better in comparison to last year. In 2017, Cox completed the entire season with 5.5 sacks. This year, he’s already got four.

The Cowboys offensive line might be the most reliable part of their offense right now, but that’s not saying much. Cox will be a problem to their interior line, and there’s no other way to put it. Dallas made it clear that they want to establish a run game against Philly this week, but they may be doomed from the start as long as Cox is playing this dominant.

The Eagles run defense is nothing to worry about. However, they need to make sure that they get instant pressure on Prescott when they are going to pass. The last thing the Eagles need to do is let Prescott out of the pocket and scrambling on them all night. So, it all starts with the pressure up front for Cox.
